We've used walnut stains over the years on several of our wood block species….for several very special projects… including the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. But never have we created such an elegant walnut colored block flooring system as we have recently… completing a real Walnut Wood Block installation, at a Michael Mina Restaurant!
We're so proud to have been selected by Tony Chi & Associates, Interior Designers of New York City to provide and install our 3/8" depth x 2-5/8" square Walnut Wood Blocks in the new Michael Mina Bourbon Steak Restaurant at the Turnberry Isles Resort in Aventura Florida. Our walnut blocks were chosen… not only for the flooring, but also for the bar front and for several wall panels at several private dining booths. The little opera lights below the bar overhang reflect light on our walnut blocks… absolutely beautiful detail. Photos just don't capture the beauty! This is a must visit for anyone in Aventura! The walnut blocks, with their many grains and shades of brown, add a "never before created" warm richness to this magnificent facility.
We believe this installation may be the finest block installation in the country… clearly one of the most beautiful wood block installations we've ever done!
