FibreBlock Recycling Overview

We have advised our customers that Fibre(B)lock® is recyclable, and from time to time our customers have asked us how we might recycle their older blocks. We offer the following information herewith...

An Overview of Kaswell Flooring Systems Recycled Content Products Recycling Program

Our Fibre(B)lock® floor blocks are 100% recyclable at the end of their useful life. The following conditions apply to our program....

  1. Upon the customer's decision to remove the industrial flooring, random blocks primarily in the areas of production, where production fluids may have spilled, must be sent to Kaswell Flooring Systems for laboratory analysis at the customers' expense. The purpose of the lab analysis will be to determine if the contamination will adversely effect the remanufacture of the product, or if it is of a hazardous nature. Also, no material will be accepted with any form of metal contamination, i.e. nails or screws.
  2. Upon approval of the customer's material, the customer will be required to ship the material to us on pallets. The pallets can be shipped after receiving an approved shipping date, at the customers' expense.
  3. The customer may request to have new material manufactured from its' recycled content returned material. The customer will be credited for the feedstock costs, at the current pricing levels at the time of return, should they make this request.
  4. Each return will be considered as a separate transaction, therefore subject to individual testing. It is in the customers' interest to provide us with the profiles of whatever liquid spills may occur in normal production routines.
